1. Take an E-Bike Tour and spend a day enjoying the natural beauty of the region
Pedal the shady paths and nature reserves of Echuca Moama without breaking a sweat on a Green Pedal electric bike tours. Choose from the Green Pedal Echuca Scenic Tour (90 minutes), or the Bike to Winery Tour (allow up to 3 hours) which are available Monday to Saturday. Book ahead to secure your bike ride. It’s a decision you won’t regret. Or take a self-guided ride by hiring a bike – for a day, or just a couple of hours. 2. Stand Up Paddle on the Murray
Our favourite summer activity (apart from exploring on an E-Bike) is spending time on the water on a Stand Up Paddle Board. Contact Jess from Echuca Moama SUP and she will ensure you have a great experience! We recommend an early morning SUP, or at dusk.
3. Soak up the sun at Moama Beach
Moama Beach is located under the original Echuca Moama bridge. It’s a lovely sandy spot and is a popular place to swim. Life jackets are recommended. You can take a picnic, or use the bbqs to cook your lunch or dinner. Seometimes you will find canoe hire available at Moama Beach – contact River Country Adventours.


4. Aqua Island – Water fun for kids
Aqua Island is a giant floating water park in Moama, open from November for the summer season. Located at 1725 Perricoota Road Moama. Minimum age is 3 years, and children up to 12 years must be supervised by an adult. Sessions run for 3 hours – bookings recommended. Check out the Aqua Island website for all the details.
5. Cool Off At Chinamen’s Bend
Chinamen’s Bend is a great place to cool off on a summer evening. Head East along Pakenham St. When it becomes Goulburn Road take a hook turn left onto Middle Track. Follow this track all the way to the river and you will have reached Chinamen’s Bend, a sandy spot popular with families. This is also the place where Echuca Moama SUP launch their paddle board tours.
6. Echuca’s Great Aussie Beer Shed
Drive or ride an E-Bike to the Great Aussie Beer Shed in Maryann Road, TripAdvisor’s number 1 Tourist Attraction in Echuca. Open during school holidays and on weekends. You won’t be disappointed with the vast collection of memorabilia and you will be entertained and welcomed by your host Neil Thomas.

7. Spend a while in Murray Esplanade Echuca
Wander through Murray Esplanade and stop in at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, Custom House Gallery and the Foundry Arts Space. We also recommend a visit the Echuca Historical Society. As you meander the streets, enjoy a coffee or lunch at some of the our amazing cafes and restaurants. There’s plenty of choice!

8.Visit the Wineries and Cafes
Take a drive (or ride your bike) to St. Anne’s Winery for a complementary wine tasting. We also highly recommend their delicious grazing platters. We suggest that while you’re in Moama stop by at Morrison’s Riverview Winery – a lovely setting for lunch. While you’re on the NSW side you could also visit Restdown Winery in Caldwell and the Old School Winery in Woomboota (we suggest you drive to these locations as they are too far on a bike!) 9. Explore Echuca Moama on an E-Mountain Bike
Explore Echuca’s single trail river tracks on a Green Pedal E-Mountain Bike or cycle to the Moama Mountain Bike park. You can hire an E-Mountain bikes for half, full and multiple days. Cruiser Style bikes are also very popular, and are the most comfortable ride.


10. Cruise the Murray
No trip to Echuca Moama is complete without experiencing a Paddlesteamer Cruise.
